Aurinko Kustannus Oy (Inc.) is an independent publishing house and a member of the Finnish Book Publishers Association. The founders of the new publishing house are former Kustannus Oy Arkki employees who bought the company from the Lutheran Evangelical Association in Finland in September 2009. Aurinko Kustannus continues as an independent company, standing ready and eager to face new challenges.
We are publishing annually 60 to 100 titles including children’s books, gift books, non-fiction books, as well as Christian books by Arkki label. We also provide custom books, designed to match customer needs. The traditional Arkki label focuses on prayer books, children’s Bibles and hymn books. In addition to books, we also publish calendars.
Aurinko Kustannus is striving to offer keys to happy and joyful life and to contribute to positive attitudes by publishing first-rate books for avid book readers. Themes of our books include children, family, home, relationships, well-being, hobbies, handicrafts, nature, garden, tradition. We embrace and appreciate all these themes. Our company is aiming to be a versatile and broad-minded publisher of high-quality books. We are constantly searching for new brilliant manuscripts and fresh book ideas.
